Har Zion Temple embarks on our next 100 years with a vision for what it means to be a 21st Century synagogue.

Security – $250,000
Security is one of our largest investments each year because we want to ensure a safe and secure campus for all who enter our doors, especially our children. Our building and campus are filled with young learners and families almost every day of the year. In today’s climate, where Jewish institutions face growing threats and antisemitism is at its highest levels in decades, high-quality security is not optional; it’s essential.
While the security fee covers security staff, it does not cover the infrastructure that keeps us protected: surveillance systems, software, maintenance, upgrades, and emergency planning. Government funding going forward is uncertain, and we rely on our community to cover these additional expenses and ensure 24/7 protection. Your support keeps us safe.

Marketing – $100,000
Over the past year, we strengthened our communications by hiring a Marketing Director and building a solid digital foundation, leading to record event turnout, stronger recruitment, and a growing social media presence. We recently launched a new website and event portal, and we are eager to fully activate our marketing strategy—supporting photography and videography, paid internships, advertising, event promotion, and new tools to expand our reach and streamline communications.

Facilities – $100,000
Har Zion is proud to have one of the largest and most vibrant synagogue facilities in the region. Our spiritual home has served us for nearly fifty years, and it requires—and deserves—our continued care. Each year, we must invest in essential maintenance of our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure our campus remains safe, functional, and welcoming. Our kitchen, which supports nearly every event we host, also requires ongoing maintenance and repairs to keep things running smoothly.
Please consider an increased contribution to help offset these expenses, so that Har Zion Temple can continue to provide the highest level of services and programs for our community.
Contributions at these levels will be recognized at the High Holidays, the Bulletin and other ways throughout the year.
This contribution combines Dues, Yom Kippur Appeal and the Annual Fundraiser.
