Har Zion Temple is proud to serve as the home base for the Philly Friends of Paper Clips, a living bridge between our Philadelphia Jewish community and the remarkable students and educators of Whitwell, Tennessee — home of the world-renowned Paper Clips Project and the Children’s Holocaust Memorial.

Since 2012, Har Zion has organized annual journeys to Whitwell to honor, learn, and grow together through shared memory and understanding. When resources from our Philly Friends Fund allow, we joyfully welcome the “Paper Clips Kids” to Philadelphia for a special Shabbat experience with our community — deepening bonds of friendship, faith, and hope.

Looking ahead, our long-term vision includes a joint journey to Poland and Israel as part of the March of the Livingprogram, continuing this sacred path of remembrance and unity.

Every contribution to the Philly Friends Fund sustains this extraordinary partnership — one rooted in tolerance, love, respect, friendship, and remembrance.

In a world that needs these values now more than ever, your support truly makes a difference.
