Simchat Torah Morning at Har Zion Temple
We invite our entire congregation to join our NCCECE students and preschool-age families for a joyful Simchat Torah morning as we celebrate the Torah and the many people who make up our Har Zion community.
One of the highlights of the morning will be our hakafot, the traditional procession and dancing with the Torahs. With live music led by Cantor Herman, we’ll gather together for spirited singing and dancing, with each hakafah offering an opportunity to recognize and honor different members of our community, including families, children, and congregants of all ages. Everyone is invited to join the circle, dance, sing, and share in the celebration.
We’ll also mark this special holiday with Torah honors as we complete the annual cycle of Torah reading and begin again, celebrating both the continuity of our tradition and the generations who carry it forward.
Following the dancing and Torah service, we’ll continue the celebration with a festive community brunch and ice cream bar. Whether you have young children, grandchildren, or simply want to experience the energy and joy of Simchat Torah, we hope you’ll join us for a morning filled with music, Torah, community, and celebration.
