Current Events: Contemporary Israel and Jews in the News with Norman Einhorn
Join Norman Einhorn for a 16-session Current Events discussion series, held in the warm and welcoming home of Patty Grobman. Each session offers a chance to step back from the headlines and dig into what’s really happening in the world, and why it matters. Norman brings decades of teaching experience and a gift for making complex topics accessible, guiding participants through thoughtful, well-researched discussions rather than quick takes or soundbites.
This is more than a lecture series, it’s a community conversation. Set in the comfortable, intimate setting of Patty Grobman’s home, the series encourages open dialogue, respectful debate, and genuine curiosity. Whether you’re a news junkie who wants to go deeper or someone looking to better understand the forces shaping our world, this series offers a space to learn, question, and connect with others who share your interest in staying informed and engaged. No prior knowledge is required, just a willingness to think critically and participate in the conversation.
