Better Together is Har Zion’s intergenerational program connecting empty nesters with fifth- and sixth-grade students from the Jane Fishman Grinberg Religious School.

Throughout the year, adults and students come together for conversations, activities, special programs and shared experiences designed to help two generations genuinely get to know one another.

This isn’t about teaching a class or having all the answers. It’s about showing up and being yourself. Our students benefit from hearing your stories, perspectives and experiences, while you’ll have the chance to see the world through the eyes of a younger generation.

Now entering its fifth year, Better Together has become an opportunity to form relationships that extend beyond a single program or Sunday morning.
