HSA
The Home and School Association of the
Noreen Cook Center for Early Childhood Education
The HSA is a parent-led organization whose mission is to serve as liaison between parents and teachers and enable parents to become involved in their children's preschool experience. The goals of the HSA are to supplement and enrich the preschool program by providing religious, cultural and social activities for the children and their families.
The HSA enhances The Noreen Cook Center curriculum by sponsoring holiday celebrations such as dinner in the Kendall Sukkah, Shabbat dinners, Thanksgiving feasts, Hanukkah celebrations, the Purim Carnival, the Passover model seder, and the Israel Independence Day celebration. The HSA also organizes the Fall Fun Fest and Tzedakah projects. HSA funding has provided each classroom with access to digital camera technology to capture all of these precious moments.
The HSA Challah Happiness program makes it easy for your child to participate in your family's Shabbat celebration by bringing home the challah and the candles every Friday.
The HSA assesses each family's dues of $50 a year to help fund our programs. We rely on fundraising events to raise additional monies for special programming, classroom equipment, playground upgrades and other needed items.
Please volunteer and get involved! It is a great way to connect with other families and bring you closer to your child's school experiences.
